The Lenovo logo and the startup screen will appear in sequence, indicating yourtablet has been turned on.Turning Off Your TabletPress and hold theOn/Off buttonon your tablet for about 1 second. SelectPowerofffrom the pop-up window and then tapOKto turn off your tablet.NOTE:When connecting to a computer with a USB cable, make sure that the batterypower is sufficient for normal operation; otherwise, charge with the AC power adapterbefore USB connection.1-4 Activating/Deactivating the DisplayActivating the DisplayWith the display deactivated, press theOn/Off buttonon the tablet to activate thedisplay. The tablet's display will then illuminate, indicating that it has been activated.Deactivating the DisplayIf you do not need to use your tablet temporarily, you can press theOn/Off buttonto deactivate the display. Your tablet will then enter standby mode to save power.1-5 Screen Lock/UnlockScreen LockAuto-LockSettings>DEVICE>Display>You can set screen timeout by tappingSleep.If there is no operation within the preset standby time, the display willautomatically deactivate, and your tablet will be locked automatically.Manual LockIf you do not need to use your tablet temporarily, you can press theOn/Off buttonfor about 1 second to deactivate the display. Your tablet will then be locked, and willenter standby mode.Screen UnlockWhen in standby mode, press theOn/Off buttonon your tablet to activate thedisplay.
